How exciting.  We promise to up the anti and experience at Hue-Man and this month we have. Join
us for a really hot event: A listening party, cd signing and sale of
the original cast recording of FELA! the award-winning Broadway musical.
Music, conversation, refreshments with the cast of FELA! and special
guests. Fela!
an evening where The Revolution will be Broadwayised! Nominated for
three Tony Awards, Fela! is the true story of legendary Nigerian Fela
Anikulapo Kuti's and explores his controversial life as an artist,
political activist and his revolutionary music which inspired a
nation.   Inspired by his mother, a civil rights champion, Fela defied a
corrupt government and spent his life fighting for human
dignity. Pulsing with his pioneering blend of jazz, funk and traditional
African rhythms that launched the Afrobeat community Fela is alive and
